Posted 04 Oct 2012 in PCGames

The Elder Scrolls V: Hearthfire

With this official add-on to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you can purchase land and build your own home from the ground up – from a simple one-room cottage to a sprawling compound complete with an armory, alchemy laboratory, stable, garden, and more. Use all-new tools like the drafting table and carpenter’s workbench to transform quarried stone, clay, and sawn logs into structures and furnishings.

Even transform your house into a home by adopting children.

Key features:

Choose Your Land – Choose from property in the salt marshes of Hjaalmarch, the forests of Falkreath, or the vast tundra of The Pale. For the more ambitious landowner, purchase multiple plots and start building a real estate empire.
Customize Your Home – Expand your home with a variety of room combinations including an armory, alchemy tower, kitchen, trophy room and more. Grow plants in your new greenhouse, cultivate slaughterfish in the fish hatchery, house your Arcane Enchanter in the enchanting tower, or display your latest conquest in the trophy room. Add additional features like stables, mills, smelters, gardens and more.

New Objectives and Interactions – Guard your home from unwanted visitors like marauding kidnappers, armed bandits, and skeever infestations. Turn almost any follower into your personal steward to improve and protect your home. Or if you require more help, hire a personal bard or carriage driver to ease the burdens of home ownership.
Adoption – Transform your house into a home with Hearthfire’s all-new adoption system. Adopt children and discover new ways to interact with your family. Play games with the kids, allow them to have pets and gain new bonuses from having a family.

This DLC just like Dawnguard in the aspect that it doesn’t explain how to start it or where the trigger point is, just like there is no explanation on how to start the vampire side of the Dawnguard DLC.

It’s the same old bullshit Bethesda does where they do program the main game so that specific things have to and can only be done one way (Such as joining a faction). But then out of the blue Bethesda will implement DLC that has EXACTLY the same set up in it (In this case, 2 factions) that even through there are 2 factions, only 1 is joined the normal way you have been doing it all a long in Skyrim’s main game, while the other is nowhere to be found.

Bethesda has utterly destroyed pretty much every piece of DLC they have ever made with this ludicrous programming method.

Works like a charm. Wasn’t sure at first, but then I saw the wooden sword in a vendor :P. A pretty minor DLC, but still nice to have I guess.

its only 60mb because most of the stuff needed was already in game they just added few more lines of dialogue and the ability to purchase land to build a house.
Dont forget to activate the mod after copying the stuff into the data directory (well atleast i had too )

  10. LB08 (05 Oct 2012, 15:44)

doesnt work on PL version :/

    • Łukasz (05 Oct 2012, 23:05)

Dodatek działa na wersji PL! Wystarczy mieć wersje spatchowaną do oraz w folderze “DATA” mieć dodatek Dawnguard (pliki *.bsa i *.esm o łącznej wadze ok. 1200MB). Ja tnę w wersje PL i mi wszystko śmiga.

      TNX SKIDROW!!!

Pobrałem “The.Elder.Scrolls.V.Skyrim.Update.10.Incl.Dawnguard.DLC-HI2U” oraz mam działający dodatek Dawnguard. Mimo to gra dalej wyłącza się na logo Skyrima (zaraz po Bethesda)
